The last rites of Karmayogi Jagadguru Swastishree Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Pattacharya Mahaswamiji will be held as per the Jain tradition but with full state honors, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
In a condolence message, the CM said he was saddened to hear about the demise of the Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Mahswamiji of Sri Shranavanabelagola shrine on Thursday morning.
It is an irreparable loss to the State. Let God give strength to lakhs of devotees to bear the loss of the mahaswamiji.
