s part of the drug trafficking and national security day, the Bengaluru city police in the presence of union Home Minister destroyed 4297.8 kilos of drugs worth Rs.90.8 Crores which they have seized from in and around the city over the last one year.
The drugs were destroyed at at an incinerator at Dabaspete industrial area based on the direction of the drug disposal committee.
The police had recovered 4110 kilos of Ganja,11 kgs of Marijuana oil,22 kilos of Hashish oil,8 Kilos of Opium,5.5 of charas,62.7 kgs of MDMA powder and 8073 tablets of crystals were destroyed .
Senior police officials and officials of pollution control board were present at the ocassion.
