annada film producer and bigg boss contestant , Prashanth Sambargi who recently launched “Jhatka Cut” campaign against Halaal Meat,is in trouble for posting derogatory and defamatory posts on social media against JDS supremo and fomer PM,HD Devegowda and former Chief Minister,HD Kumaraswamy.
JDS legal wing state president AP Ranganath,on Saturday filed a complaint with the central division cyber crime police seeking legal action.
Mr.Sambargi has put out a series of posts on Mr. Devegowda and Mr.Kumaraswamy to defame and attempt to tarnish their images.
Prashanth has also posted a defamatory comment on the seer of the community,which irked the community members.
When the reaction to his posts are on the rise in social media,Mr.Sambargi put out a post recently apologising for his comments and withdrawn his posts .
Considering his history,Mr.Ranganath is his complaint demanded that the accused should be arrested and expelled from the city .
The cyber crime police have taken up a complaint and are investigating .
