A cattle trader was found dead under mysterious circumstances and it is alleged that the cow vigilant punith Kerehalli has been arrested! by police.
Tension Prevailed for some time in Sathanur when family members of Idrish Pasha who was allegedly transporting cattle illegally was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Saturday.
The family members protested with the dead body demanding action against cow vigilantes led by Punith Kerehalli.
The cow vigilante group reportedly intercepted the vehicle with cattle… However pasha reportedly escaped but the accused alleged chased and assaulted him as a result, padha succumbed to his injuries.
Tension prevailed for some time as family members and people gathered at the spot where the body of pasha recovered and staged protest.
Police reached the spot and pacified the agitated family members to handover the body for post mortem.
Based on the complaint the police have registered a case of unnatural death and Awaiting post report for further investigation.
