A pregnant lady shot dead at Delhi

Abhijit Ray:She had to be shot for protesting against the loud  DJ and because of this, she also lost her unborn child. The woman, who suffered a miscarriage in Delhi, died on Saturday. The news was reported from the hospital on Sunday. The deceased’s name is Ranju. A 30-year-old pregnant lady Ranju devi  died during treatment after being allegedly shot at by her neighbour in the Samaypur Badli area for objecting to loud music, police said on Sunday. She was resting in her room on the night of April 4. In the next house, there was a ceremony of worship in the house of neighbouring Harish. The DJ was brought in on that occasion. But at the sound of a loud DJ, the pregnant Ranju was not able to sleep. She came to the balcony and protested. Enraged over the incident, Harish opened fire at Ranjudevi. Ranju was shot in the neck. Police rushed to the spot after receiving the news. He was rescued with serious injuries and admitted to the hospital. But by then it was too late. Ranjudevi’s unborn child could not be saved. He himself was battling with death in a critical condition. But he finally gave up on Saturday.
