two -and-half year old boy drowned in a pit dig up by bwssb to install water pipeline and left unattended at gollarahatti on magadi road on Monday.
The deceased boy Karthik ventured out of the house to play and slipped into the pit filled with water .
Based on the complaint by Hanuman, father of the boy , the Byadarahalli police have registered an FIR against BWSSB engineer and contractor charging them under death due to negligence.
Hanuman from Uttar Pradesh had come to City in search of work and worked as wall painter. His wife is pregnant was at home at the time of incident while Hanuman was away at work.
