The Begur police have registered a case against the probationary Police sub Inspector after wife ended life at the house in Begur layout on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Shilpa,33,while Ramesh SV has been booked on the charges of murder based on the complaint by family .
The police are awaiting post-mortem report to take up the case further .
According to the police,the couple married an year ago and it was a love marriage.Since both belonging to different caste,Ramesh trying to avoid getting married to her even after they were having live-in-relationship .
However Shilpa brought this issue with Ramesh higher ups and forced him to marry.The couple lived in rented house but Ramesh used to fight with Shilpa and even tried to marry his relative again.
Unable to bear the torture Shilpa allegedly ended life by hanging.The incident came to light when the owner of the house noticed Shipla’s body hanging and alerted the police.The police are further investigating the case .
