he Yeshwanthpur police on Saturday arrested a 29-year-old sales executive of a mall for strangulating his wife to death over a domestic row on Thursday.
The police arrested Sharath Kumar was married to Priya,19,year who was also working in the same place where the accused was working.
It was a love marriage and the couple were living in a rented house in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar in Yeshwanthpur.
On Thursday night,Sharath called Priya’s family stating that Priya who went to sleep after dinner is lying motionless in the morning and dead.The family rushed to the house and alerted the police .
The police rushed the spot and shifted the body to post-mortem while detained sharath for questioning.
PM report revealed that the murder was due to asphyxiation and detained Harath against for questioning.
A Detailed questioning led him to confess that he had killed Priya by strangulation over a fight.Further inquiries revealed that Sharath was already married with two children before marrying Priya.He used to visit his first wife and children frequently and Priya would object and fight .
On Thursday the couple had a fight over the same issue in the melee Sharath strangulated her to death and tried to make it look like natural death.
