Chief Minister Siddaramaiah planted a sapling at Vidhana Soudha premises in memory of former Chief Minister Devaraj urs to mark his death anniversary.
The Chief Minister explained that the sapling is from Madagascar and stays evergreen.
He said that it is a special plant that grows about 40 feet tall and prevents pollution.
