23-year-old private firm employee found murdered at her flat in Kodihalli in JB Nagar while her male friend is on the run.
The JB Nagar police have formed four special teams to track down the accused,who is native of Delhi and working in Hyderabad and came Akanksha, before allegedly smothering her to death .
The murder came to light when Akanksha’s flatmate returned from work on Monday evening and found her lying on the floor with a dupatta tied around her neck.
Based on the complaint, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the body and inquired with the roomate to find that Arpith had come to see her on Monday.
Akanksha and Arpith used to work in Hyderabad and she shifted to city to work in a private firm few months ago and living in a flat on sharing basis.
Police suspect that the duo while in the flat had a argument following which Arpith allegedly smothered her to death with a pillow and later tried to hand her to ceiling fan with her dupatta to make it look like suicide and unable to carry out the plan,he dumped the body on the floor,locked the flat from outside and escaped .
The police have alerted all the airports and circulating his photograph seeking information from the general public.
