he Cubbon Park police on Tuesday arrested city based event organizer and recovered three pistols and 99 rounds of ammunition from him.
The accused,has been identified as,Niraj Joseph , native of Kerala and working for a event management company in the city told the police that he has sourced the weapons from his contacts from Northeast .
The accused Joseph was caught by PSI, Ishwar Vannur, while he was waiting in a car for his client to deliver the weapons at bus stop on queens road .
The weapons looks like factory made and investigations are on to ascertain his network,said adding that the police are also verifying his criminal background.
The cubbon park police have taken him into custody and now trying to ascertain his network .
