Karnataka government transfers four IPS officers,among IPS Hemant Nimbalkar Assumed Office As Karnataka’s New DIPR Commissioner

I n another round of major reshuffle the state government transferred,Additional Director General of Police (law and order),Alok Kumar to as Additional Director General of Police,Traffic and Road Safety, Bengaluru in the upgraded vacant post.

Alok Kumar was replaced by R.Hithendra,Additional Director General of Police,Crimes and Technical Services,Bengaluru.

The other senior officers transfers includes Umesh Kumar,Additional Director General of Police, Administration,replaced Mr.Hitrendra and transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Additional Director General of Police,Crimes and Technical Services.

Soumendu Mukherjee,Additional Director General of Police, Police,Computer Wing,transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Additional Director General of Police,Administration, replacing Umesh Kumar.

IPS officer,Hemant Nimbalkar has taken charge as the new Commissioner of the Information and Public Relations Department on Wednesday.

An order regarding this has been issued by the state government on Tuesday.

He has earlier served as the Additional Commissioner (Admin.) of state police and as Inspector General of Police (IGP) Internal Security Division (ISD) Bengaluru.
