A 20-year-old engineering college student ended life at his hostel situated in the college campus in Yelahanka on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Vivek Ravikumar, pursuing 4th SEM Information Science course at Nitte Meenakshi college.
The incident occurred at around 10 am when his roommates went for breakfast while Vivek left behind.
They returned to find the door of his room was locked from inside.After repeated attempt to open,they broke open the door to find him hanging to the ceiling fan.
He was rushed to Yelahanka government hospital where the doctor after examination declared him as brought dead.
The Yelahanka police have registered a case of un-natural death and investigating to ascertain the reason behind his extreme step.
