MUDA:Direction to hold back decisions made in three months: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that instruction has been given to withhold decisions made over three months in MUDA.

He was speaking to the media after the KDP meeting today.

He said that the instructions has been given to officials in the KDP meeting to provide drinking water and protect the standing crops as the monsoon is delayed.

It has been informed that there should be no problem for drinking water in Mangalore,Udupi,Raichur,Koppal and other districts. In case of water crisis in Mysore,a contingency plan should be prepared.

Officers have to be courteous to people.He said that senior officials have been instructed to visit the subordinate offices frequently and also take up field visits.

District in charge Minister HC Mahadevappa will hold a KDP meeting again,he said.

A high-level committee meeting has to be convened to decide the formation of the Dasara Authority and a meeting will be called immediately,he said.

There is no question of sharing Cauvery water to Tamilnadu,It is not they we should not share.but we ourselves have shortage of water he said.
