A 26-year-old gym trainer has been arrested by the Hanumanthanagar police in connection with a POCSO case.
The accused has been identified as Prabhakar Naik.
Senior officer told reporters, Prabhakar Naik was working in a gym as a trainer where an 11-year-old girl, who lived in the same locality,visited often.
On Monday evening,she had gone missing for several hours and her parents searched for her and found her in his room near the gym.
Based on the complaint of the girl’s parents that Naik had sexually harassed their daughter,he was booked under the POCSO Act and has been arrested,he added.
