Modi: We are not neutral on Russia-Ukraine.. Modi’s interview with an American magazine

Prime Minister Modi (PM Modi) left for America today. Earlier, he was particularly fond of an American magazine. On this occasion, he mentioned about many issues like Russia-Ukraine war and relations with China.

 

Delhi: Western countries have accused India of adopting a neutral stance in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which has been going on for more than a year. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) recently responded to this. They said that they are on the side of peace. The Prime Minister made these comments in a special interview given to the Wall Street Journal before leaving for the visit to America (USA). Apart from this, Modi responded about many issues such as India-China relations and the relationship with America.

“Some people said that we are showing a neutral attitude. But we are not neutral. Standing on the side of peace. Every country should respect the sovereignty of countries and international laws. Disputes should be resolved through diplomatic channels and negotiations. And not with war,” said Modi. The Prime Minister reminded that he had spoken to the leaders of Russia and Ukraine, Putin and Zelensky, several times to resolve the issue. “India is doing everything it can. We support all efforts to resolve conflicts and bring peace and stability between the two countries,” said PM Modi.

Peace in borders is important..

Referring to the relations between India and China… Peaceful and calm conditions in the border areas are very important if bilateral ties are to stand. We believe in sovereignty, territorial integrity and peaceful settlement of disputes. At the same time, India is ready to protect its dignity and sovereignty,” Modi said.

No country wants to replace all the seats..

The Prime Minister said that India-US bond is stronger than before. He said that there is a lot of trust between the leaders of both the countries. Responding to world politics.. “India deserves to play a broad role in world geopolitics. India is investing heavily in education and infrastructure. Multinationals are looking to us to enhance their manufacturing and supply chain amid the current geopolitical tensions. But we don’t want to replace any country. We just want to get our rightful place in the world,” explained Modi.
