Anyone who wants to do corruption in Tithide should be feared: YV Subbareddy

Thithide Chairman YV Subbareddy said that Srivani Trust has been revived to eradicate the broker system. Some have criticized it for political gain.

Tirumala: Thithide Chairman YV Subbareddy said that Srivani Trust has been revived to eradicate the broker system. Some have criticized it for political gain. He released a white paper on Srivani Trust. Subbareddy spoke on this occasion. He commented that if corruption is to be done in Titide, any person should be afraid. 

“We have arrested 70 brokers and registered 214 cases. Srivani Trust was started in 2018 in the previous government. After Vaikapa government came, we restored it on 23 September 2019. We are doing temple construction and renovation with the income from this trust. Some political leaders have made allegations that trust donors are not being given receipts.. They are not correct.

Srivani Trust has earned an income of Rs.861 crore as on May 31. All these transactions were done through the bank only. Construction and renovation of various temples has been undertaken with Rs.120.24 crores. We are renovating 127 ancient temples in Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and other states. We have allocated Rs.139 crores for this. Bhajan Mandirs..
