CM Jagan: Another state-of-the-art stadium in Visakha.. Cricket academies at four places in the state

Today, Amaravati: Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy has directed the officials to take steps towards setting up another state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Visakhapatnam. Once this is realized, it is suggested that the present YSR Stadium should be developed as a center of excellence for sports. He said that Chennai Super Kings have come forward for the development of cricket in the state… He ordered to proceed towards the establishment of cricket academies in Kadapa, Tirupati, Mangalagiri and Visakha. On Thursday, he conducted a review at the camp office in Tadepalli on the sports celebrations to be organized under the name of ‘Adudam Andhra’. On this occasion, the officials provided details to the Chief Minister about the organization of competitions from the village level to the state level. Chief Minister said.. ‘Let’s play Andhra games should be organized with dignity. Competitions should be conducted in order to fill good spirit. These should be useful in bringing out skilled sportspersons in rural areas. It should be ensured that food and other facilities are provided to the athletes coming to the competitions. Special teams should be formed to conduct the competitions efficiently. It should be ensured that all the prominent sportsmen of the state participate in these competitions. He directed the officials to work for the development of other sports along with cricket.

Chairman of Scotch Group who met the CM

Scotch Group Chairman Sameer Kochhar met CM Jagan at Tadepalli camp office on Thursday. CM honored him on this occasion. Sameer Kochhar presented his book India 2047 High Income with Equity to the Chief Minister. Scotch Group Vice Chairman Dr. Gurusharan Dhanjal and Director Rohan Kochhar participated in the meeting.
