Abhijit Ray, Kolkata:-On June 2023 , nearly 200 people donated blood at an open donation camp in North Kolkata’sKalindi area organised by 116 Bidhan Nager constituency TMC. This camp is being organised to fight with scarcity of blood in the summer time. The camp was attended by the MLA and Minister of State Government, Sujit Bose, who motivated the participants and said that donating blood is a noble cause and indicates the feeling ‘Joy of Giving’. He has also highlighted the importance of donating blood and how it can save valuable lives Suchayita Das, Councillor of 19 number ward of South Dumdum Municipality, presided over the programme. She urged the local people to participate in this blood donation camp and said that “Donating blood is an act of solidarity.
