A 55-year-old pedestrian was killed after he was knocked down by a speeding car on Dr.Rajkumar road on Sunday morning.
The deceased identified as Krishnappa was crossing the road on zebra crossing when speeding car knocked him down and sped away.
Severely injured Krishnappa was rushed to a near by hospital where he declared as brought dead.
The Rajajinagar traffic police registered a hit and run case and with the help of CCTV grabs identified the killer vehicle and arrested the driver.
