Chief Minister Siddaramaiah offers job to acid attack victim at CM secretariat

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has directed officials to offer a job in his secretariat to a victim of acid attack.

The Chief Minister,while hearing to the public grievances at his residence, promised employment on the spot after hearing the plight of the victim.

The victim who was attacked on April 28,2022 is an M.Com graduate.She with her parents appealed for a job to chief minister during Janata Darshan.

They had also appealed the then Chief Minister Bommai for employment.He only promised,but did not give a job to the victim,they said.

Hearing the plea of the victim,the Chief Minister directed the officials to give her job on contract basis in his ministry.

Accused in the guise of Swami,police in the guise of devotees.

A case was registered in Kamakshipalya police station regarding acid attack. The police arrested the accused who was hiding in the Thiruvannamalai Ashram in the guise of Swami.

At present the accused is in Bangalore jail. The victim is under treatment which is supported by the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
