24-year-old software engineer sustained critical injuries when the car he was driving in a rash and negligent manner crashed into roadside tree in Papareddypalya in Kamakshipalya on Friday late night .

The driver identified as Yashash was heading from Nagarabhavi to Kengeri driving his car in overspeed and lost control and crashed into the roadside tree.

Due to the impact the car was split into two and he was critically wounded.

He was rushed to a private hospital where he is being treated in ICU.

The Kamakshipalya traffic police have taken up a case and collected his blood samples as he was found intoxicated and sent the samples to FSL for examination.
