A 35-year-old teacher was killed when a speeding truck knocked her down at Devagundi cross on Monday.
The deceased Vedavathy,was heading to school on her scooter when the truck knock down her scooter .
The profusely bleeding Vedavathy was rushed to hospital where the doctor declared her as brought dead .
The driver of the truck abandoned the vehicle and fled soon after the accident .
The Hosakote police have seized the vehicle and trying to track down the driver.
