he Kodigehalli police arrested a gang of four including three transgenders for robbing valuables from the people in and around Hebbal rind road .The accused Sneha,Avishka,Deepika and Prakash .
Senior officer told reporters,Prakash is an autorickshaw driver and partner in crime used to ferry them throughout the night to target people who are returning home from work late in the night .
The accused confront them and on the pretext of demanding money rob their valuables.Using a similar modus operandi the accused robbed a 70-year-old man who was going to airport and waiting for the cab near Hebbal flyover .
The accused robbed his cash and mobile phone and escaped in autorickshaw.
Based on the complaint,the Kodigehalli police track down the accused and arrested them. Initial probe revealed that the accused are involved in similar crimes in and around the area.
The accused have been booked under robbery and further investigations are on.
