n a sensational double murder that shook India’s IT capital Bengaluru, the chief executive officer and the managing director of Aeronics Internet Company were brutally killed by an ex-employee.A gang of three persons at their office situated in Pampa extension in Amruthalli police station limits on Tuesday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Vinu Kumar,CEO and Paneendra Subramanya,MD of Aeronics Media private limited,a internet brandband company the company started at in November 2022.
Senior officer as Addl CP East,Raman Gupta with DCP Northeast,Laxmi Prasad with others rushed to spot and cordoned off the area and Laxmi Prasad said that the incident occurred at around 4 am when the assailants armed with swords and dagger barged into the office premises and attacked Paneendra in the presence of 10 employees.
Vinu Kumar who was at the other chambers rushed to his rescue but the assailants attacked him too before fleeing the spot from the backdoor.
The profusely bleeding duo were shifted to a private hospital by the staff where they succumbed to their injuries .
Senior police officials along with the jurisdictional police rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed investigations.
The police based on the eye witness statement identified two of the assailants.One of the assailant according to the police is a former employee identified as Felix quit the company recently and started his own business .
We suspect Business rivalry could be one of the reason behind the murder,a senior police officer,said .
Felix also very active in social media and having an instagram account with over 1000 followers .
Addl CP East,Raman Gupta said that five special teams have been formed to track down the accused who are on the run.
The police have obtained some clues and based on the call record details, they are trying to track down the accused .
We have some leads and working on it to track down the accused to ascertain the motive behind the murder”,he added.
The police are recording the statement of the staff members to ascertain the involvement of others in the crime and also verifying the motive behind the murder .
