Amaravati: TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh has complained to Governor Justice Abdul Nazir about the availability of stray cannabis in the state. Lokesh met the Governor at Raj Bhavan today. The DRI report which says that AP is at the top in the supply of drugs has been handed over as evidence. He explained that wherever cannabis is found in the country, its roots are linked to AP. On the other hand, Hawala transactions have a negative impact on the state’s economy, the complaint said. Lokesh asked for a thorough investigation and action against those responsible. Among those who went to the Governor along with Lokesh were TDP leaders Sharif, Nakka Anandbabu and Kollu Ravindra.

Speaking on this occasion, Lokesh alleged that the supply of drugs in the state is only with the involvement of Vaikapa leaders. Vaikapa leaders are among those caught in drug production and smuggling. He said that there have been many incidents of drunken attacks by youth in the last four years.. This epidemic is having a severe negative impact on students as well. After complaining to the governor about drugs, Lokesh left for Yuvagalam padayatra. Today, the Yuvagalam Padayatra will enter the joint Prakasam district from the joint Nellore district.
