Abhijit Ray, Kolkata: -Two accused got arrested in Laketown firefighter’s murder. The accused have been identified as Afraz Ansari and Ayush Sharma. After preliminary investigation, the police claimed that the brutal murder was due to personal enmity. Although, the whole thing is still not clear, and the investigation is ongoing.The incident took place on Thursday afternoon. Fireman Snehasish Roy, a resident of Laketown Green Park Sarada Palli, was returning home from school. At the same time, the miscreants shot at Snehasish Roy in front of the house. He was rushed to R G Kar Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The incident naturally triggered intense tension in the area. After knowing about the incident, the Laketown police rushed to the place of murder.Less than 24 hours before the investigation began, the police arrested the two accused, Afraz Ansari, and Ayush Sharma. According to reports, Afraz is a resident of Rahra and Aayush is from Titagarh. Two other people have been detained and are being questioned. After initial interrogation, the police believe that the fireman was shot dead due to personal enmity. So far, it’s not clear. The firefighter has reportedly been attacked in the past.
