PCC President Revanth Reddy has warned the party workers that they will face action if they protest at Gandhi Bhavan.
Hyderabad: PCC president Revanth Reddy has warned the party workers that they will face action if they protest in Gandhi Bhavan. For the past few days, some leaders have been protesting in Gandhi Bhavan saying that they are being treated unfairly in the party posts. Even today, when Revanth came to Gandhi Bhavan, some people from Aleru Constituency Thurakapally were seen protesting. After knowing their details, Revanth responded strongly to the concerns.
Revanth reminded that the presidents of 7 mandals for 8 mandals in Aleru constituency were appointed by Constituency In-Charge Birla Ailaiah and MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. He questioned why there is opposition to giving one mandal to a woman. In-charge of Gandhi Bhavan, PCC Vice President Kumar Rao has been ordered to collect details to suspend the agitation if it is not stopped immediately. Also, Revanth ordered the suspension of Shankar Naik, who was the president of the mandal committee until recently.
Violation of rules will result in suspension.
He clarified that if dharnas are held on the steps of Gandhi Bhavan from now on, they will be suspended. Revanth advised PCC Disciplinary Committee President Chinnareddy to take action if party rules are violated. However, if there are any objections in the appointment of the committees, party organizing working president Mahesh Kumar Goud suggested that a petition should be handed over to Vema Narender Reddy. He explained that the party will discuss and take a decision on those requests.
