The Doddaballapur rural police have arrested a 29-year-old labourer for killing his wife for cheating in on him.
The accused has been identified as Harish,resident of Kolur village.
According to the police Harish married Bharathi and the couple had a five year old daughter .
Probe revealed that Bharathi allegedly had an affair used to visit his male friend after the husband goes to work .
Harish came to know about the affair and in a fit of rage,confronted Bharathi while she was in the house of her male friend alone.
Heated argument ensued between them following which Harish in a fit of rage attacked her with blunt weapon he had carried .
Bharathi collapsed and died on the spot in a poof of blood , following which Harish escaped along with his daughter .
The murder came to light when the male friend returned home to find, Bharati in a pool of blood and her daughter was missing.
Based on the complaint,the police have taken up a case of murder and tracked down Harish .
The accused has been booked under murder and further investigations are on .
