The Sanjaynagar police on Sunday arrested a 48-year-old security guard of a private firm and recovered 1140 gram of Marijuana from him.
Based on a tip off a team led by PSI,Girish Naik,raided a place near Patelappa layout bus stop and caught Sheikh Ali,resident of VIdyaranyapura and recovered the bag containing 1140 grams of Marijuana and cash Rs. 1,500 from him.
Ali told the police that he sourced the drugs from his contacts in the outskirts of Chittoor and sell it to his customers for a price which according to the police is 1:10 ration of purchase and sale margin.
The accused has been booked under NDPS and efforts are on to track down his network.
