Abhijit Ray, Kolkata: On Friday morning, a young man tried to enter the lane of Mamata Banerjee’s house in Kalighat with a black car written ‘Police’. However, it was stuck under tight security. Police arrested the youth and took him to Kalighat police station. Several weapons were recovered during a search of the vehicle. Initially, it was found that the youth has been identified as Sheikh Noor Amin. On the morning of July 21, there were allegations of security lapses at the TMC supremo’s house. Sheikh Noor Amin, a resident of West Midnapore, allegedly tried to enter the lane of the chief minister’s house in the guise of armed police. He was arrested by kalighat police. But why did the young man do this? What is his identity?Sheikh Noor Amin is a resident of West Midnapore. He has been mentally ill for the last three years. He was suffering from depression. Noor Amin was undergoing treatment at a doctor in Kolkata. He also had to take medicines regularly. His wife Poonam Bibi said. He stayed in Kolkata most days of the week. He used to return to West Midnapore for two days a week. However, his wife Poonam Bibi lived in her father’s house.Poonam Bibi also said that Amin was an interior contractor.
