wo constructions labourers injured while two others escaped narrowly when an roof of an under construction structure collapsed in a park in ITI layout in Bommanahalli on Tuesday.
The workers were putting roof tiles when the incident occurred.One of the injured recalling the incident said that they were passing tiles to two others labourers who are sitting on the roof of the structure to place the tiles .
Due to the overload of the tiles the structure crumbles and crashed on the ground injuring the labourers .
Luckily two labourers sitting on the rooftop crumbled down along with the structure and escaped with few scratches .
Others working at the adjacent areas rushed to their help and shifted them to hospital where one of the labourer sustained deep cuts on the head and had to get stitches.
The residents who gathered at the site blamed sub standard work led to the accident.However no complaint has been filed so far, a senior officer,said .
