* Cultivate scientific Temper and Rationality:CM Siddaramaiah’s call to students.
Politics is not for power.CM Siddaramaiah called upon the students that only those who have the spirit of service should enter politics.
He was speaking at the Pratibha Puraskar programme held at Shrimad Jagadguru Revanasiddeshwara Simhasan Shri Kaginele Mahasansthan Kanaka Gurpeetha’s Chandralayout branch mutt and awarded the students and the achievers in various fields.
The progress and development of the society requires service minded politicians.The CM regretted that the service mind in people is decreasing in recent days.
Stating that talented persons can achieve only when there is talent-opportunity-educational environment and cooperation of parents,he said that children should develop scientific temper and rational thinking.
Only then we can become civilized and humane.He opined that solution to many problems of the society can be found in rational thinking and scientific temper.
The CM said that humanity and rationality are greater that the ranks we obtain and the property that we amass.He said that without humanity,all the marks and positions gained by us are useless.
Sri Niranjanandpuri Mahaswami presided over the programme,Sivanandpuri Mahaswami, Siddaramamanandpuri Mahaswami and Iswaranandpuri Mahaswami were present.
