Belarus has declared that it will not hesitate to launch a nuclear attack. To this extent, warnings have been issued to NATO countries deployed along the borders.
Internet Desk: Belarus has issued warnings not to hesitate to use the nuclear weapons taken from Russia in case of foreign attacks on our country. To this extent, the President of the country, Alexander Lukashenko, said. It is noteworthy that he made these comments to the state-run news agency Belta at a time when the borders became tense with the deployment of NATO forces.
Lukashenko recently told Belta that his country will not be a participant in this war until the Ukrainian troops cross the border. However, they decided to continue to help their ally Russia. He said that if NATO countries like Poland, Lithuania and Latvia attack, Belarus will respond with all its forces, including its nuclear weapons. Moreover, they were afraid to hide and wait. “We did not bring nuclear weapons here to threaten anyone. But, it is true that they scare opponents a lot. These are small nuclear weapons..not big ones. That’s why we will use them as soon as they start attacking us,” he said.
It is already known that Belarus is playing a key role in the Ukraine-Russia war. Moscow is using this country as a launchpad. Last year, Belarusian troops performed war exercises with Russian troops. Only then, everyone thought that they would also be involved in the attack on Ukraine. In June this year, some nuclear weapons were moved from Russia to Belarus for protection. This was announced by Vladimir Putin himself. He commented that there is no need to doubt it.
So far, there is no information on how many nuclear weapons from Russia crossed the border and reached Belarus. On the other hand, Western countries also do not confirm that Belarus has nuclear weapons. In addition to this, according to the estimate of the US Defense Intelligence Agency, if there are nuclear weapons in Belarus… they will not be under the control of Lukashenko… they will be completely under the control of Russia.
