Armed gang attacks DMK leader Alagiri’s aide in Bengaluru

Armed gang attacked 53-year-old DMK Functionary and a Rowdy-Sheeter from Madhurai in a hotel in Kammanahalli where he had come to have tea with a local real estate agent to discuss about the house for rent.

The victim,VK Gurusami,having multiple criminal cases pending against him is associated with the ruling DMK party.

Senior officer with others rushed to spot and after inspecting and collecting information he said that the victim had come to city to look for a house to rent so that he can be away from his arch rivals .

The gang followed him in a car and attacked him before fleeing the spot.Panic gripped among the other customers who ran helter-sklelter.Gurusami sustained multiple injuries and fell on the ground .

Few people rush to his help and called ambulance before alerting the police .

The Banaswadi police rushed to the spot and collected the CCTV footage to identify the attackers.We have some clues and working on it,a senior police officer, said .

Senior officers visited the spot and later to the hospital, said that two special teams have been formed and one of the team has been sent to Madhurai to ascertain the motive behind the attack and the assailants will be nabbed soon he added.
