Today, Amaravati: TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh on Sunday tweeted that her blood is boiling and her anger is breaking after seeing her father being unjustly remanded for a crime he never committed. It is stated that he was never involved in partisan activities and destructive politics. A person who has done a lot for the country, state and Telugu people.. Why should he bear such injustice? Is it because he envisioned the development, welfare and opportunities of our people before others? He asked. It is with a heavy heart and tear-stained eyes that I am writing this today. ‘I grew up watching my father pour his energy for the betterment of the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telugu. He works tirelessly to change the lives of millions and never knows a day of rest. His politics are always sober and honest. Love of those served, He saw the deep inspiration he enjoyed from gratitude. Their heartfelt thanks filled him with pure joy. They are the equivalent of a child’s happiness. I too got inspired by him and gave up my comfortable job in America and returned to India. It’s a tough decision.. I have faith in our country, systems and above all our constitution,’ he said in the tweet.
Join me in battle
‘Today feels like a betrayal. My father was a fighter. So am I. We will rise with unstoppable strength for AP and for Telugu people all over the world. I request you to join me in this war’, Lokesh called.
A temporary break for the hike!
Lokesh will take a break from the Yuvagalam padayatra for a few days. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar reached Podalada in Konaseema district by Friday. It is informed that the padayatra will start again after the situation improves.
