How does that mean in times of war?

America’s defense circles were suspicious of SpaceX founder Elon Musk’s refusal to allow Ukraine to use Starlink services last year.

National Harbor: SpaceX founder Elon Musk’s refusal to allow Ukraine to use Starlink services last year has cast doubt on American defense circles. This incident brought to light what kind of situations arise in critical times like war if private organizations and individuals depend on them. US Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall said on Monday that this incident reminded us of the need to be very careful about military agreements in the coming days.

Russia will do a nuclear attack…

Many interesting things have recently come to light in the book related to Elon Musk’s biography written by famous author Walter Isaacson. This book will be released in America. It also has many interesting details on Starlink services to Ukraine. In September last year, Ukraine asked Elon Musk for help in destroying ships belonging to the Russian Navy in the port of Sevastopol. It asked for Starlink (internet) services in Crimea to facilitate the attack. This was denied by Musk. He himself admitted this recently. He explained that he had taken that decision out of concern that Russia might launch nuclear weapons in retaliation. At the time of this, Starlink did not have any deal with Ukraine. By then, Musk had allowed the Ukrainian military to use their services for free.

Based on SpaceX in many respects

A few months later, America intervened in the matter. Signed an agreement with Starlink to provide uninterrupted services to Ukraine. However, the Pentagon has not disclosed the terms of the agreement between the two parties, the amount to be paid to Starlink. America is relying on SpaceX not only for Ukraine but also for other things. In this context, Kendall has recently revealed that there is concern about what will happen if commercial service providers refuse such services at critical times in the future. As a result, we are discussing how to deal with military agreements in the coming days.

We need a rocket ship

“While implementing any such military operation, to rely on commercial service organizations and systems, certain guarantees must be taken from them. Or else they are likely to act in a different way. Financial demands may arise when peace is to be established. “It is not good to rely on such services in times of war,” said Kendall. Not only in the case of Ukraine, the US military has also entered into other agreements with SSSX. The US Air Force’s ‘Air Mobility Command’ has entered into an agreement with SpaceX to develop a rocket ship to move their equipment very quickly in times of emergency such as war and disasters.
