Lokaspandana under QR code based feedback system Hanumanthanagar Police station rewarded as Best Police Station for the Month of August for rescuing a labourer from Assam,

Based on ratings given by people using QR code enabled feedback mechanism initiated by BCP called Lokaspandana,Hanumanthanagar PS in South Division has been chosen for having the highest rating for the month of aug 2023.

PI Hanumantha nagar and staff were felicitated and given appreciation letter by @CPBlr during the monthly service parade held on 1st Sept.This process of identifying best police station based on public feedback will be continued every month tweeted by Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda.

It was in the second week of August when Hoysala patrolling team based on 112 information rushed to the spot and rescued a 25-year-old labourer from Assam who who was inflicting injuries himself with a knife and threatening the passers-by in Srinagar .

The Police team reached and after several minutes of struggle managed to pin down the person and bundled him to the hospital who was in critical condition .

The victim found to be mentally challenged and refused treatment and was aggressive.The police team not only attended and assisted the doctors to treat him.

Meanwhile the police track down the mason under whom the victim was working to hand him over .

Few days later,the police based on a SOS call reached a house and rushed the woman to a hospital on time who had consumed poison over a domestic row.

The victim was under depression and after a fight took poison in a bid to end life before locking the house from inside .

The police had to rush to the spot broke open the door and took her to the hospital on time,which had saved her life.

City police commissioner B Dayananda on Monday rewarded the staff of Hanumanthanagar station who have been selected as best station under QR code based feedback system .

On Monday Mr.Dayananda issued certificate to Inspector Vinod Bhat and his staff members for quick and best response to address grievances in the month of August .

in order to provide effective and transparent services to the public,the city police have adopted “Janaspanda” a QR code based feedback system where people can rate the police station and staff for the service they have received while visiting the station.

We have deployed two women staff to receive the complainants and interact with the people visiting the station.

This Apart the Hoysala teams have been directed to attend the calls in record time and provide best solutions,Vinod Bhat,Inspector,Hanumanthnagar police station,said.

Majority of the people visiting station insist that they should meet the inspector to discuss their issue,a patient hearing for the maximum number of visitors , will resolve half of their problem on the spot,Mr.Bhat, said .

The staff of the station have been directed to tackle the issues on the spot when are empowered to resolve .

This way a patient hearing to the problem and timely action will not only improve the efficiency but also improve the image of the police,he added .

The feedback mechanism for rating the station for their services and response of the people will be held every month.

This will not only bring transparency but also improve the efficiency of the system, Mr.Dayananda,said .
