he Mahadevapura police on Wednesday arrested a Conwoman from Madhya Pradesh involved in running a honey trap racket and was on the run since then.
The accused identified as Aarathi Dayal was arrested based on a theft case reported in Paying guest accommodation .
The accused who lived in PG had stolen gold valuables from her room mate and escaped.
Based on the complaint,the police tracked her down to Vijayawada and arrested her.
Upon Questioning it was revealed that she was involved in multiple criminal cases and also running a honey trap racket in MP and was on the run after jumping bail since three years.
The police have alerted the MP counterparts for further verification.The accused allegedly used to trap businessmen,government employees and politicians to extort money from them.
She was arrested in 2019 in a similar case and after coming out on bail,she escaped .
Aarathi was living with fake identity and worked in spa to befriend rich customers and cheat them.The accused has presently been booked for theft case and remanded to judicial custody said a senior officer.
