Anisha court of Vijayawada heard the interim bail petition filed by Chandrababu in the skill development case.
Vijayawada: The hearing on the interim bail petition filed by TDP chief Chandrababu in the skill development case has been postponed. Vijayawada Anisha Court has issued an order adjourning the trial to 19th of this month. The CID was directed to file a counter before then. The judge mentioned that the quash petition was pending in the High Court. He is of the opinion that if the interlocutory bail is investigated, it will affect the quash petition.
It is known that TDP chief Chandrababu filed a petition in the Vijayawada Anisha (ACB) court on Thursday seeking bail in the case registered against him by the CID on allegations of irregularities in the utilization of AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) funds. It was stated in the petition that the CID registered a case even though there was no prima facie evidence against his role. “My name is not in the complaint given by the chairman of APSSDC. At least he did not say when my name was included in the case. The CID does not have the basic details to tell me on what basis I have been included as an accused. I was dragged into this case maliciously out of political vendetta. At the instigation of the Chief Minister, I was framed. Grant bail considering these factors. Before deciding the main case, grant interim bail’, the petition asked. Anisha’s court has postponed the hearing to 19th of this month.
