ity Police Commissioner,B.Dayananda,warned that forceful collection of donation for Ganesha festival is illegal and strict action will be taken against them.
He said that elaborate security arrangements has been taken to ensure peaceful Ganesha Chaturthi and reiterated that the organizers should follow the guidelines laid down.
Any violations of the guidelines,the organizers will be held accountable and strict action will be taken against them.
Organizers should take necessary permission for installing Ganesha idol at public places and the sound and music should be played between 6 am to 10 pm.
He also said that permission for the procession route should be taken from the local police and bursting crackers and music in front of the prayer halls are prohibited.
