Day after recovering Rs.56 lakh hard cash from Halashri Mutt at Hirehadagali,the CCB officials on Thursday conducted spot inspection along with Halashri Swamiji and recorded the procedure .
Senior officer told reporters that out of the Rs.60 lakh, swamiji had given 2 lakh to an advocate for consultation and getting bail,while the rest of Rs.2 lakh he reportedly spent.
The officials are now trying to find out another 40 lakh which the accused suspected to have invested .
The police have issued noticed to two of the associates of Swamiji who reportedly carried out his instructions and helped him while he was on the run.
The CCB officials so far arrested eight people in this case and recovered around Rs.2.5 crore in cash, vehicles and investments.
The accused Swaimiji who is presently in CCB custody for the next one week will be questioned to ascertain his network and possible involvement of people linked to the cheating .
Meanwhile,Nataraj Sharma,a city based advocate,said that a complaint will be filed against Govindababu Pujary for his illegal and unenthical practice .
According to him Chaitra and her gang involved in cheating and facing legal action.
However Mr Pujary is equally responsible to conducting illegal transaction of Rs.5 crore in violation of the law of the land and needs to be probed by ED on the source of his income .
