A 40-year-old security guard was killed by his friend over a trivial row during drinking session at his house in Seegehalli in Kadugodi on Wednesday
.
The deceased has been identified as Tejeshwar and the accused Dharmendra Singh,40 was arrested while he was waiting for his friend to help him to dispose the body.
Senior officer told reporters Dharmendra Singh worked in a hotel and lost job two months ago due to his alcoholism.
The accused had come to the house of Tejeshwar,who worked as security guard in a hotel.Tejeshwar was alone at home and the duo sat for drinking.
There was no one at home and the children of Tejeshwar had gone to school while wife who worked in an apartment,had gone to work.While drinking Tejeshwar reportedly hurled abuses at the daughter of accused.
Enraged by this accused started punching the face of Tejeshwar and when he fell on the ground,he picked up a flash and bludgeoned him to death.
After killing Tej
eshwar,Dharmendra sat with the body for sometime before calling his friend informing him about the murder and sought his help to dispose the body offering Rs.10,000.
The friend alerted the police who rushed to the spot and arrested Dharmendra and shifted the body for post-mortem.
