The CCB officials on Saturday produced Chaitra K and her seven members teams before the magistrate and remanded to judicial custody.
The officials grilled Chaitra and her associates were questioned and recorded their statement before recovering the money that they have cheated from Govind Babu Pujary.
The court while remanding the accused to custody asked the CCB officials to submit their objections for the bail application which is coming up on tuesday.
Meanwhile the Kota police of Udupi district filed their submission before the court seeking the custody of Chaitra in another cheating case.The accused had taken Rs.5 lakh from a fisherman promised to help him set up a cloth shop .
Meanwhile another cheating case has been filed against Halshri swamiji from a former PDO of Ranathur gram panchayath in Shirahatti Taluk with one crore promising to get him MLA seat.
