State to witness development if KAS officers are given priority: Basavaraj Bommai

F ormer Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai opined that giving preference to the KAS officers will help in the development of the State.

Speaking at the third anniversary of the Karnataka Veerashaiva Lingayat Employees Credit Cooperative Society at the Scouts and Guides here on Saturday,he said the civil services of the country has a historical importance.Of late,a lot of changes were taking place.

Achievements were not possible without changes.The Veerashaiva- Lingayat Community has a broad base. They have a positive thinking as well as progressive thinking This has been used for the state’s welfare.

Bommai said it was important to have prestige and accepting nature in the society.In the current time, they need to have a cordial relationship with everyone as it would help in the progress of the community and also of the people.

The KAS officers have proved their honesty and the government must rely upon them more.The State Officials enjoy more respect in other states and such atmosphere must be created here also.Full support would be extended in this regard cutting the party barriers.

Former CM B.S.Yediyurappa,Ministers M.B.Patil and Eshwar Khandre and the pontiffs of various mutta were present.
