A dead rat found in the food packet distributed to policemen on duty created panic among the police personnel on security duty .
This is the second time where sub standard food has been distributed to police.An FIR has also been registered earlier in vidyaranyapura police.
The dead rat was found in the rice bhath packet distributed to traffic police personnel in yeshwanthpur.
The message was circulated and all the food packets were soon discarded.
There were around 180 food packets distributed to policemen on duty..an inquiry Initiated and necessary action will be taken,MN Anucheth,Joint commissioner of police,traffic,said.
