The award distribution of the dedication of a book on behalf of Smt Gangamma Somappa Bommai will be held at Srinivasa Garden, Kusugal Road in Hubballi on September 28,said Trust Vice-President Mallikarjun Bommai.
According to a press release here, the award will be presented by the Chairman of the State Legislative Council Basavaraj Horatti.
Former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai will preside over the function. Union Minister for Coal and Mining Pralhad Joshi, Mahesh Tenginkai, and Arvind Bellad, MLAs will be the chief guests.
The awards will be presented to the books of noted writers, Dr Hema Pattanshetty, Horeyala Doreswamy, and Neha Rampura. Noted litterateur, Chandrashekar Vastrad and Ramesh Kallagoudar will be present at the function.
