ormer Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that health is important for everyone and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented many schemes like Ujwala and Ayushman Bharat to protect everyone’s health.
He was speaking while participating in the free health check-up camp in Hurulikuppi village of Savanur taluk of Shiggaon Constituency, organized by Amnesty Seva Institute Hubballi,Smt.Gangamma S.Bommai Trust and Mrityunjaya Rural Development Organization Shiggaon on Sunday.
The former CM said health is essential for everyone, without health nothing happens.Many people work day and night but they don’t go to the doctor for mild fever and go to the doctor only when the health condition worsens.The health of mothers at home is very important.
Word of mouth says that they should not neglect your health in your daily work.The central government has implemented many schemes in terms of health.
Today,Prime Minister Modi is making cleanliness day.If there is cleanliness around the house,the health of everyone would be good.
The health of women was deteriorating due to cooking using wood stoves.To avoid this,the Modi Government has implemented the Ujjwala
Bommai said Ayushmann card had been distributed with which they can get treatment up to five lakhs anywhere without spending any money.
This scheme has been extended to 130 crore people in the country.Modi has opened Janaushadhi Kendras for the sale of medicines to the poor at low prices.
The Jal Jeevan Mission scheme has been implemented to provide clean water to every family.In the last 75 years,only 25 lakh households were supplied with tap water but 30 lakh homes have been connected in three years.
The BJP leader said a borewell will be provided in a week to solve the problem of drinking water in Hurulikuppe village.
There is an allegation that Savanur drainage water is coming into the lake of Hurulikuppe village.He said that it would be immediately reported to the authorities and that the sewage water entering the lake would be diverted.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi is conducting a health check-up from his organization’s CSR fund.A health camp is being conducted in every Gram Panchayat. Everyone should get a complete health check-up. ”
During my tenure, a 250-bed hospital in Shiggaon and a 100-bed mother-child hospital in Savanur were sanctioned and the construction has started.An Ayurvedic Medical College is coming up in Savanur.
