arassment and stone pelting at any religious event is illegal.Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that our government will not tolerate such activities and will suppress them.
He was speaking to the media at Vidhana Soudha today.Miscreants pelted stones during the Eid Milad procession at Ragigudda in Shivamogga.
Stones were also thrown at the police and inevitably the police resorted to lathi charge.43 miscreants who are responsible for the riots have been arrested and cases are being filed against them.
Shimoga is under complete control.The police took action and peace is prevailing in Shivamogga.He said that all measures have been taken to maintain peace.
