family outing for a family of four turns tragic as a 31 year old woman along with her two daughters charred to death while her husband sustained severe burn injuries when the car they were travelling crashed into a truck before engulfed in flame near clover leap on sompura on kanakapura road in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Sindhu and her two daughters kushavi and ganavi.The injured mahindran S, 35 is being treated at the hospital and police awaiting his recovery to question.
The family hails from Salem Tamilnadu was living in a RM Nagar and mahindran was working in a private firm. Since it was a holiday on account of Gandhi jayanthi Mahindran hired a car and took the family for outing.
The car was heading to kanakapura from mysore road .
Police suspect that Mahindra was fatigue and dozed off losing control over the steering.
He was driving rash and negligent manner crashed into the truck and the car burst into flames due to the impact .
Mahindran managed to get out along with a daughter but Sindhu and other daughters could not be saved.
Due to the impact even the truck was overturned and the driver severely injured .
Passers by helped mahindran to shift to hospital before alerting the police.
The Thalaghattapura traffic police rushed to the spot and alerted the FSL team for technical analysis.
Rash and negligent and death due to negligence case has been registered against Mahindran and police awaiting FSL reports for further investigations.
